Default Cowanesque and Tioga Lakes

Well it's time to start up the annual thread for us folks along the north border.
Still getting the trailer legal and Piranha installed, with any luck I may get on the water this weekend and see if I can find them on Cowanesque.
I've seen some activity at the south launch over the past weeks but haven't heard any stories.
Now that I'm more mobile, I'd be interested in locations on Tioga/Hammond that I've never fished before.

I'm almost there! Now that the boat is almost ready, I have to find all my crappie fishing stuff from last year!

Came really close! The boat actually got wet! As I was launching on the north shore lauch site at Cowanesque I popped a brake line on my old rusty Ford F150 - lucky I didn't get a 'truck wash' while I was there!
No major disasters compared to how badly it could have gone.Give me another day for repairs and I'll try again.

Are you fishing in a boat or off the bank.? We are going to be up there next weekend with 9 guys and 4 boats. Were you caughting them in close to the banks or out in open water?

You should have come over to Cowanesque Lake! WE hammered up there last night. They never started biting till 730 and we fished till 9. I bet we caught close to 70 or so.
