Just wondering.
I have a question about gill spawning. A buddy of mine went down to a local lake that I fish quite a bit. I had been on it looking for the crappie in the shallows a week and a half ago. No beds of any sort. Then a week ago on Sunday he and his wife were down there and there were no beds. Last Wed. a buddy and I went down and the shore line was peppered with beds in a foot or less water. No fish in the beds. Did the gills spawn that quick or did a cold front move them back out after the beds were dressed?
Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.

Sounds like what happened locally. Water hit 70, shallows full of fish spawning, couple of days later and the water's 65, the fish are gone. Reappeared this past weekend. The water temp you ask? 70 again.
