    Live down in Sarasota for years and used to flyfish Myakka Lake and river as well as Istokpoga and associated lakes and such. Killed 'em with a bumblee pattern; not only big bluegill, but bass up to 5-6 lbs. Catch one of those on a 6 wt. fly rod. Good fun.

    Besides the poppers and droppers try a Renegade Fly, you can use it with a spin bubble on spinning gear or with your fly rod
