I've caught a few 7" bluegills. One was one a full night-crawler, on the bottom for catfish, and the other was on a 1" grub. Those are the two biggest 'gills I've caught. That 1" grub is an excellent bait, I've caught 20 bluegill, green sunfish, and Large-Mouth at one time with it!
