Has anyone fished bear creek lake lately?

Didn't fish it last week, but they're pretty predictable there. Fish a little off the beds with live bait.
A friend of mine never fishes more than sculling paddle deep. He still catches bream but the size runs smaller as you go later in the summr.
Haven't tried it, but I bet you could do good with one of those drop shot rigs mentioned in previous posts using worms or waxworms and fished deeper.
