Default Water temp for bedding bream?

At what water temp do you start to see bream bed?

Went to the lake today and fished several areas where they have bedded for the past ten years and nothing!!!! The water temp was around 65 degrees and to me that is very cool for mid May down here may have to wait for the next full moon in June.

That's over my head on temp.I know on my pond they are on the bed now and @ the lake they are barely forming egg's.65 deg's seem's kind of cool to me though.

I have noticed them beginning to move in the upper 60's and low 70's.

The weather was weird here in B'ham Saturday (dropped off cool Friday night) and really seemed to turn the fish off. On the lake I fish we caught 85 in 6 hours, by contrast during the heat wave last Satruday we caught our limit in 4 hours. It took me a while to figure out that the fish had moved of the beds in to about 8 feet of water.

Nothing like bluegill and shell cracker on the bed.
