Default Superworms

Any of you use superworms. They are much easier to keep than mealworms and stay on the hook better than crickets. I am going to Toledo Bend soon and wondering what your thoughts were.

Sounds like what we call earthworms around here. 3 to 5" long and are definitely tougher than wigglers. I usually will pinch mine in half and fish a half at the time.

They are a hardier version of a meal worm, usually about 1.5 inches long. Sometimes used to feed pet lizzards and some birds.

Not familiar with those but would love to drown a few over here in Lake Talquin. Do you order them or does your local bait shop carry them?

Take a look. I bought some last year, but didn't do a head to head with crickets. Seemed to out fish regular worms. All you do is put a piece of apple and some type of bran with them and your set. Good in hot weather too.
