the water temp was 52. great day to be on the boat. Attica I fish the river a few times a year too, we saw 2 eagles there this spring.

Those crappies wont drop those eggs until the spring spawn. They build up all fall and winter. This is my favorite time of year to fish for em. They sure are thick now.

Thanks. I bleed them out before i clean them. Notice how white the meat is.

It is really white. I have seen pics of fish you have cut on OGF (I go by Briansipe17 on there). I keep thinking of trying that, but hate to take any extra time before I get my line back in the water. I don't wanna miss feeding time! Also, we usually keep our fish in a basket until we leave. That would attact sharks, I think, lol.
I am the partner in crime to Jigtwins... everyone always wants to know how we always seem to catch fish every time out. I have a simple answer... we are some of the most patient fishermen on the water! Our theory is that if we are on a spot that we know is or should be holding fish and we stay there long enough, they will eventually start feeding. We have proven that theory to be true time and time again!
