    Haven't used the maggots, but we've been using the Gulp Alive 1" minnows with success. We were on Lake LBJ July 4 weekend and my wife had bought a jar because they were "cute"...... Anyway, we caught a ____load of nice size red belly and black ear sunfish in the heat of the day and at night. Also caught a 2-1/2 lb bass and a small channel catfish on them. We use 1/16 oz jig head with them.
