Thread: Thursday Aug.13 fish

Went to the bayou yesterday and caught a few bream. Brought 29 home that I filleted and cooked last night. Threw back probably as many as I kept that were smaller. Had to keep a few small ones that swallowed the hook. I went Wed. also just to see if they were biting because I wanted to take my Dad fishing Thurs. I caught probably about 30+ fish on Wed. that I ended up giving to a lady fishing near the boat ramp. Sure did make her day. Dad ended up not going on Thurs. but I had to make the trip anyway. Maybe next time I am off he will be able to make it. I sure hope so. I really enjoy him going with me. He will be 77 next Fri. had he has some chronic health problems so he only gets to go if I take him, which would be everytime I go fishing if he felt like it.

Great mess of gills there lovetofish!! That is neat to pass fish to the folks that aren't getting on them that day. I've done it a few times myself. Hope your dad gets out there with you soon.
This ole feller would sure like to get down in that contry sometime to fish in the swamps and cypress. Won't happen but I can dream. lol ole giller
