Yep, The same in Idaho the Bluegill are in there spawning beds area ever year.

Those are moving fish in the beds. When is suppertime? I see a few monster 'Gills.

Ship, those beds are in the private lakes I fish and the owner doesn't like you to mess with the bream so I don't fish for them but I catch a lot of big ones while I'm fishing for crappie. I've caught and released one 13" long and the biologists have shocked one that was 16". He says I can keep a mess every once in a while but I've only kept 6 in the last year.
