North MS bream-what's the pattern?
What will the bream do with the cool weather that's coming through? I'm going to go out tomorrow (Saturday) and I'm just wondering how they'll react to the change and where to find them.

Last Saturday we caught them tightlining on the bottom in water from 6 ft. to 15 ft. deep.

Mike, it will depend some on how much rain you got and when. I asked this same question on the Mississippi board and found out what I thought I already knew. The lower air temps probably won't change the water temp too much, but the rain will. I'm lookin for my Redear tomorrow morning close to deep water (8-10') around places where the rain runoff is pretty good.
May be in 3fow or on the bottom in 10fow. Just have to look for them, but don't waste a bunch of time. Keep moving till you get on them hammer em.

G3 &Jimmy, that's the redears, what about suspending fish like 'gills?
Specifically, I'm wondering about crappie. THinking about some minnows, and head out for perch and crappie. Last weekend they were 6' deep in 17' of water, or at least some of them were, I usppose some up along the weed lines, too. But now we got a high here tomorrow to be around 67 degrees, that following a couple of weeks of 80's. Got an inch of rain last night, that's supposed to be then end of that...
Figure on following the sonar, but given that scenario, what'd you think they'll do? And why? I'm in learning mode if you're in teachin'.

Ingrandad....I have been catching the bluegills as well as the redears in the same places tightlineing. They are in the deeper water near known bedding areas. 6 to 15 FOW on the bottom.

ING, maybe it'll take the wind with it. Keep something crossed. lol
And G-3, I'm like ING, I'm catchin RES and BG in the same places. The bigger RES are deeper and a little more fenicky than the gills, but generally, they're in the same place - deeper water, but close to beds.
Tear em up guys. And be safe.
