Question, can I expect to find fish on nest with the full moon period? I know they flock to the nest in May/June full moons, does July offer a good nesting period for crackers and gills too?

I'm bettin' they go on the beds, probably today. Friday I had 54, 90% of them ripe hens. Wife and I got another 33 yesterday, not over 4 or 5 males amongst them. THose girls were ripe, and the old timers claim there'll be fish on the beds every summer full moon.
Bear in mind that generally the bigger fish may be bedding deep, so don't be in a hurry to throw that first cast clear to the shore. Start out and work in.
Well we caught 21, about 17 of them were big redears between 9-10.5 inches and down right hefty. We missed some dandy's too, I had several big redear just straighten my hook out.
The game warden gave us two warnings for not having two life jackets and boater registration. My uncle who's 80, forgot the jackets and registration in his truck bed. Needless to say, we sped across the lake and retreived the jackets and boater registration.
The game warden stopped a fisherman before coming over to us that had just caught a two plus pound redear, he had a picture of it on his cell phone. This thing was over thirteen inches long and shapped like a football.
Great report ... were are all the pics????
