Thread: Perquimans Trip..... Fri the 3rd

Well we tried again, caught two or three keepers but thats all , ended up releasing them............ had my heart set on a gill dinner............
really slow for some reason, water "salty" so went way up river, think that is part of the problem, no rain and then the cold fronts i.e. lo pressure moving thru again...............
Thinking about giving the Chowan another try, fishing in deeper water , further upstream from the Albemarle Sound , a few pic`s from yesterday.......
have a thankful 4th ..........
