    Default I'll never get tired

Of these beautiful, hard hitting fish. Let me start from the beginning. From my previous posts, you all know how good a weekend I had last week. Enter a couple of days of below average temps with mornings in the high 20's or low 30's. I went back to where I did so well last week to find a virtual ghost town. I wasn't going to be out all day so i wanted to hit em, give em a pass, and get back home. Didn't have to worry about giving a pass to many. Total bag today was 5 fish. Just 5. First fish of the day gave me a thump, and a nice 10" crappie came to visit. A thank you and dropped back in I went see about some of his cousins. No one home. All 4 of the others were Red Breasted Sunfish that were one as pretty as the other, and all hit my tiny jig with authority. None of this the line just got heavy, or I saw it move. There was no mistaking. Genuine attitude. Love em every one. Packed up and was home by eleven with a few lessons learned, like to wear more clothes than you think you might need even if you do live in Florida. 43* when I dropped in and 57* when I pulled out. Had the sun been out in force I would have been good but there was just enough cloud cover to give you a chill. A good trip that might have been more productive in the afternoon when the water had warmed up along some of the banks. Thanks for the visit, and I hope you get out some......Skeet

Nice.....as I’m sure you know those are in Nickajack....but they don’t get as big as the ones in Florida. I have only been catching them since this past June. Hopefully one day I can get one as nice as the one in your pic. They are a beautiful fish.

    Regards

If those things got up to 2 lbs, you'd have to fish with weedeater line and a broom handle. Great little fish.
