Default What a difference a day makes.

We went to the same spot this morning that I have been getting them in and only got four fish, all nice ones but yesterday I got over a dozen. High pressure moved in and things were different. My partner was throwing a plastic of some kind and hooked a large bass and lost it on the jump, all first thing in the morning. As soon as the sun came up they pretty much turned off. I'm not complaining it was still fun but my how things can change from one day to the next.Name: High pressure low bite 12-1-17 003.jpg

    nice

Maybe try the deeper water south of the island, 17 to 30 FOW. Surprised the fish are still close to the shallows right now. Did you try in front of the tire reef?

I'm guilty of staying in one spot, I probably need to get out of my comfort zone and try new water. I have several spots that I know the gills hang out but didn't try them that day.
