Default Help identify jig and source

I've been having great luck on redears lately with small jig. Only have one. It has a white molded minnow head (like a Northland mimic minnow) and about a half inch long bushy white black gray silicone skirt. Any ideas what is and where to get more?

The skirt is like those on bass spinnerbaits only proportionally smaller (barely past the hook).

A picture would go a long way towards identifying the jig. Just sayin'

I know. Just don't remember my photo hosting site account info. Does this website allow direct uploads of pics?

Absolutely ... direct from your computer files by using the "insert image" link (picture frame icon above this text area) .... or from your cellphone via apps like Tapatalk. Not sure about cellphone's abilities via direct link to site on an internet link, as I haven't tried that course before.

If your hosting site account was set up as private, it may have a way to get your password sent to your email account. (like answering personal questions about your first pet's name, first girlfriend's name, mother's maiden name, etc)

If it was set up as public, you may be able to access it if you remember the exact name used for the account ... then copy/paste the picture from it to this site.

Also ... in case there are no leads or this jig is no longer in production ... you may get some of our jig tying members to replicate the jig.

Would the jig you are describing look something like this (but with a minnowhead rather than the ballhead shown) ?? :

If so, you may just need to find a supplier of the silicone skirts in the proper length, and minnowhead jigs ... and make your own (or a reasonable facsimile of one).

Sounds kind of like a gitzit jig?

Trying to paste picture. Just signed up for tapatalk. No luck so far. Not seeing picture frame. Must be missing it. Skirt similar to those, but not as big. Looked at gitzits. Have some. Head similar, but skirt body.

There won't be a "tree picture" icon (that's on your connection via computer) ... look for the little "left pointing arrow" and click on that. Then you will get three icon choices : camera - picture of mountain - smiley face. Click on the "picture of a mountain" and it will take you to the pictures in your phone gallery. Touch the picture you want to put in your post and it will appear there.

I'm assuming that the "camera" icon is used to take a picture, right then, and have it appear in your post. And the "Smiley" icon is self explanatory.

Anyway ... this is the way I just did it on my Samsung Galaxy Express 3 ... and posted a picture of a Smallmouth Bass that a friend of mine caught & had mounted. It's in the thread titled "Pinky" on the Test Forum. That's a good place to "test" how your pics will appear on the site and test the procedure I just outlined.

I want to say that the jig you are describing sounds like the old blue fox crappie jigs, don't think they are made anymore but could certainly be replicated easily, they were very sparse with the silicone.
