Default When will the pre-spawn bite start??

I'm in Western Oklahoma, and I'm wondering when the crappie are going on their pre-spawn eating binge, can anyone help?? I'm still having wonderful dreams of last year, it was the most amazing fishing I've ever experienced.

Great to see you again Preach! In my Crappie opinion, it's already started and will only get better by next weekend. Start working the Northern end of the lakes creeks. Hit every stick up you come across. If you find a tree top laying in the water, stay outside of it and work the outside first, then move in close and drop down into every nook and cranny you can find. You'll be glad you did. How bout a mess of BIG crappie? That's what you should come across if you do this. Good luck!

I thought Ellsworth was getting ready. Friday was a good day around the boat house but saturday was a different story. The male were moving in but they disappeared.
