Thread: Goin early in the morning

Sunrise at 7:06 tomorrow. Carl Blackwell dock. Droppin' jigs. Catchin' fish. Who's going? Come on Stillwater crappie.com, let's go in the morning. I have a 12:30 class and depending on if there are many to clean, I'll probably fish til 10:30 at the earliest. I'll be wearin' some black overalls.

lol, alrite sounds fun... I will meet you there around 7:30am.

I went today morning at the dam, it was slow, caught 2 nice crappie and a saugeye around 3.5 lbs. Casting and retrieve with tube jigs, there was wind out of the east at about 3miles.

I was not able to feel the bite, the line got heavy and that was the only way I knew.

I wish I had my combo that I left at my parents house. I think I lost a couple bites for today, but that is that.

Well, I caught one dink and didn't have another bite. Snappiee and I met, and he's alright for an Engineering student.

There must be some truth to that old saying about the wind... Winds from the east: sleep in and wake up and make breakfast!!
