I was there yesterday and if you are thinking of going I would reconsider I had a pass to get in and thought it sucked however if you need wooly beaver tails Huckabee is there and has them and crappie pro jigheads Mr Crappie was there also with his line of stuff as was Outlaw Poles there are a few others that have crappie stuff but over all I would not spend 9 bucks to go in
I've talked to several people who don't plan to go because of the cost to enter. I think it might bomb out for them in that location this year.
A penny saved is a Congressional spending oversight.
Thats what I was told as well, after we talk it over at the get-together there's going to be a FREE crappie fishing show in Oklahoma, it might be held in a haybarn, but oh-well.:D

I think having our own show is a great idea. I'm also a ham and the club I belong to sponsers a ham radio show annually and its always great.
But you should consider an entrance fee, however small. It cost money to do a show and someone will have to eat it if you don't have some type of entrance fee.
$9 is ridiculous, $2-$4 is within reason.
Never, never attempt to dry out shad in a $1000 Maytag convection oven......... never!
I just got home and they took a step backwards this year for sure. The building with the booths is very cramped with little isle space. Tomorrow morning will be a zoo. However, if you want to hear someone speak at a seminar they are free. Just go in through the front door of the casino and walk to the back where the stage is, no tickets needed. The smoke from the casino area got pretty intense as the evening progressed.
Hey, tell me a story!

I look forward to the show every year, when I heard it was being held at a casino that was it for me. Im sure the show promoter got the area very cheap. Thy figure we will hang around a spend all our hard on checks on the cards. No thanks.
I heard they were goona build a building there just to hold the show for up coming seasons but who knows
