Thread: Canton Dam Work?

I heard at work that there is going to be some construction (repair or reinforcement) work to the Canton lake dam. Anybody know of or heard any of the like?

The dam work has been going on for some time now. I do not know a completion date

I didn't realize that the work has progressed through stage one...whatever that is. Done a little research through Corps of Engineers. I wonder if this means that normal pool will be raised once construction is completed. This might be good for the reed beds.

I was there last week and the lake was about a foot high. Didn't look like there was any release, but I couldn't really tell.
