    Default Not crappie but fun

    Couldnt seem to find to many fish in oologah, so sunday morning headed down to the lower illinois. Ended up catching 20, pretty fun though.

    I take it those were sandbass? they sure have saved a many a fishing trip, I love catching them pre-spawn they sure can pull!

    No, sorry quess i should of specified. Rainbow trout, girlfriend caught one that was 13" in not huge but she was happy with it. The majority of them were 10" to 12"

    That girlfriend might be worth keeping Matt. It's kinda hard to find one that will catch, clean, cook, and smile while shes doing it. Sounds like you got a keeper. Has she got a sister?

    3 of them actually lol. The only bad thing is she beat me 11 to 9. Just a little bruised ego guess i wont hold that against her to long. You guys get bored playing on oologah you outta go down there and try it its really a beautiful stream.

    man when me and my wife 1st meet she would go fishing with me at the drop of a hat... well time went by and we got married and then we bought her lifetime fishing lic. well now that we spent the $225.00 i cant get her to go fishing with me to save my life i guess it just happen like that sometimes
