    Default Question

Not sure who to ask, so I will just make this post. I have a real nice Honda outboard motor for sale, but don't want to make a post in the main forum where you sell stuff. The reason is simple, I want to sell this motor locally and not have to mess with shipping it anywhere.

My question is this: What is the policy on making a post in our state boards regarding an item you want to sell?

So, until I find out and get permission, I won't describe the motor or anything about it.

It goes on Ebay tomorrow evening at 7pm so if I get permission, I might just post the link to it on Ebay.

Stinkfinger, since this is a State board, I have no problem with individuals posting a notice to try and sell something somewhat local. It should be posted in the swap meet section of the forum too. I will say that I think if anyone wants to try and turn something they have. Post it once to bring it to our attention. If anyone is interested they will reply or pm you. Do not intentionally bump the add. If it sells, fine, if no one is interested, try elsewhere.
Is this fair to everyone? I don't think Ed posted individual rules pertaining to State forums trying to sell something. If it gets out of hand, then it gets moved to the Swap Meet.

BTW, Try to sell it before ebay, you will save the % of $$$ they will charge for their fee. Craigslist is a good start. Let's see a couple of pics of the Motor, condition, hp, etc.

How much would it take for you to take it off ebay and sell it to a crappie.comer?

He can't, it's already received a bid. By their rules, it has to stay up.
