Thread: Bluff

Has anyone been to the bluff lately? How has the fishing been?

I tried it on a Saturday a few weeks ago and got run off the water by a bunch of _______ that were wakeboarding up and down the oxbow.

It should be good anytime now. Last year the fish were moving up shallow by this time. I'm going to try and get out there tomorrow and check it out.

I only got to fish for about an hour before the front blew through on Thursday. The water at the back has about 8" of visability, probably 3" on the south end. Caught 2 crappie, 1 small bass. One crappie was just under 13" with a big fat belly, the other was 10". They were about 5-6' deep. I didn't get a water temp. It should be great in about 2 weeks.
