Never carried a temp guage with me maybe I need to start, good idea plus from experience wading in spring here, you can sure tell warm & cold pockets do exist when you change to new areas, cooler not many fish to be had.

March 27, 2008 4:00pm Spencer creek by the ramp was 58. Further back in the creek found some 61. Caught 1 fish, weighed 2lbs, slow trolling at 8 to 10ft over 13ft of water. Went over a brushpile and thought I was hung up. Kept pulling and up comes the fish. Didn't put up any fight at all but she sure swallowed that black and pink beavertail. Let her go after taking a pic, she was swollen with eggs.

I showed 52 yesterday in Talala Creek.
3/29 - Thunderbird 60 on the hog creek side with about 2 foot water visibility and 62 over at the twin bridges with zero water visibility
