Has the chicken poop ruined Oklahoma's gem?

It definitely gets a little greener every year. Seems like all the lakeside home construction hurts the water as much as the chickens. Years ago, the runoff after a heavy rain used to be clear. Now you get lots of mud and sediment. Still a great lake. I just hope the traffic doesn't get like Grand. I was going to head that way tomorrow until I heard the 30mph wind forecast.
