    Default Shore/dock Fishin

I need some help, and I'm hoping someone here can help.

I'm looking for a good place to fish from either a shore or a dock. Closest lakes are Skiatook and Oolagha, but I'm not limiting choices to them.

I'm wanting to find a decent place to take my son fishing, while my grandfathers boat is being worked on, and not sure when they are going to get it fixed.

I've not fished from docks or shores in a very long time.

Anyone have some places they are willing to share?

Check out all the reports I have given of Lakes McMurtry and Carl Blackwell. They're Stillwater lakes, which puts them out of the way for you but you can still have some decent fishing at the docks on either lake.

    "You don't know nothin'."

    Default Heated dock

Claremore lake has a enclosed heated dock that would be great for you guys. It gets full on weekends but if you go at off times you should be able to catch a few. I have the best luck with small jigs 1/64, 1/32 in browns and blues. Also a lot of people use minnows and have fair success.
