Crappie are finally back on at oologah caught 16 sat and 23 sunday. Not a massive amount but some nice fish, quite a few over 13in. At the mouths of the creeks in the north end. Most all of them still had eggs in them too.
Its all about how ya wiggle it!
Glad to hear that they're biting elsewhere...we've been catching them on Winganon Bridge ever since the water came up, just have to find the days where the wind didn't blow you off.

We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing."

What do you think the deal with them still having eggs is? Will they dissolve them or go ahead and spawn?

If the oppurtunity arises, I think they'll try to spawn. There's always some fish that don't, but they're the vast minority. Just Mother Natures way I guess.

Me and a buddy caught about 40 in a farm pond the other day and some of them still had eggs....The pond was real long, but probably not more than 15 ft deep....the water was pretty warm too. Caught most of them at about 2 to 3 foot.
You can give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will lie and drink beer for the rest of his life.
Went back to oologah this morning caught 2 limits of sandies but only 3 crappie to windy to get on them. Fun though!
