I hit Talala Creek Friday morning, and nada! Couldn't find them on the bank or around structure. Went halfway back to Onion Creek and still nothing. Water temp was 69 degrees and some kind of muddy.
I have'nt seen the gates closed in over two weeks. I drove it twice yesterday.
A penny saved is a Congressional spending oversight.
I also went Sat.. Didn't get squat. Oologah's a mess right now.
Last week we had very good luck in the main part of the lake in 10 foot of water catching fish at 8 foot deep. Friday was very good. We used pumpkin seed and chartruse beavertails on orange head jigs slow trolling with two rods and two jigs on each rod. The occasional drum and sand bass made it very exciting to say the least, ended up with 45 nice crappie.
Hey, tell me a story!
