i haven't been out there in a while but i'll be able to tell ya what its doing this next friday when i take my crappie project boat out on its maiden voyage, i'll be interested to find out what everyone else is doing at BLUFF

Andy dont know about Bluff but other parts of the river are doing well down near 69 Hiway they are catching pitching jigs to the bank

I was out Monday (4-30) afternoon and got 8 crappie (5 keepers) in the first 20 mins. Then, the front blew in and I caught one after that. They were all up shallow, 1-3 ft. I went back yesterday afternoon for a few hours and ended up bringing about 20 home. Caught a bunch of small bass too. They were all out deeper than Monday, around 3-8 feet. I don't think I found any on individual stumps, just brush and groups of stumps. If you keep moving and throwing you can still find a bunch of them together. They were still dark, mostly spawned out, and looking pretty skinny. I was using a 1/16th oz. blk/chrt jig with a slow retrieve. All the boaters, except one, were cool and slowed down when they went past which helped a lot. The water down from adams creek looks like crap right now. I'll be back out there tomorrow and post another report.

That is a nice looking boat you have there, you build it?

Thanks for the info guys. I like going down there, but just had a newborn boy about a week ago. I am planning to get out on the water on of the next few nice days that we have!

yes i did, about a month in it so far
got the interior primed today ready for bright yellow paint tomorrow am.
