Has any one caught walleye from the Eufaula on a regular basis?
I know they are in the lake, have seen then caught !
Does any one know where to go for them there?
Thanks
Dear,Okiefish
Most of the walleyes are caught by accident by fisherman trolling crankbaits for sandbass. Most of the time they are aroung the porum( duchess creek area), the dam to the cut by standing rock where they catch the smallmouths, and the longtown area. Ihave never seen anyone on the lake actaully go out and fish for them. But rumor has it that there are some big ones in here. But to my expierence which is not much on walleye I catch them below the damin the winter and early spring. hope this helps you. Let me know if you do any good!![]()
may just be one of those hush hush deals, the only solid report I ever heard came from the Longtown area, same type of scenario trolling crankbaits over a hump. But supposedly these guys had 3or4 over 5lbs. exactly where they would not divulge,,,,good luck!

Fellas Theres A Man That Strictly Fishes For Them Below The Dam He Tips A Rooster Tail With A Minnow And Bottom Bounces It Real Slow Ive Watched Him Catch Several Of Them On Numerous Occasions. But He Says The Colder And Nastier Outside The Better. I Used To See Him All Winter Below The Dam While I Was Striper Fishin. And I Seen A Lady Throw A Shad Net Off The End Of The Platform One Evening And She Cought 4 All Of Em Were About 4 Or 5 Pounds. They Were Up Behind The Wall Feeding I Guess.
