Thread: Oklahoma Get Together

Contacted Army Corp of Engineers today and have to get with them on how many boats are fishing if we have a tournament. Costs a fee according to the number of boats. We can reserve spots at any camping area and pay the normal camp fees. If we are going to do this I need to know what area we can agree on and if we are going to have a tournament I need to know how many boats. Am looking at the 2nd weekend of May. That is the 11th and 12th of May. In order to put this together I will need some input gentlemen. I have to recontact them monday as the people in charge of Crappie tournaments are not in today. If we have no tournament we don't have to deal with that aspect of this.

for some reason there's not alot of response to a get together ? dont really know why , maybe people are so busy,shy or what? everytime someone posts these cant get many responses...if no communication from fishermen I guess no interest? or time of year ? still in wonderment....

Was it decided which lake 2 get 2gether? Im in if at Eufaula.

I think we should simplify and not do a formal tournament. Just find an area where we can all get together - doesn't matter to me what lake.

I like that idea also as the tournament thing begins to look like a lot of WORK! I'm wanting to have some fun and not WORK. So I am going to call the Eufaula Parks and reserve an area. I need to know how many to reserve for. If you guys want to do a little side betting when we get there hey Oklahoma allows gambling last I heard. Please help me get a count folks. 2nd weekend of May. 11, 12, 13th. I don't believe any area 4 tournaments are being held on those dates. Please correct me if I am wrong.
