Well actually it's kinda hit already but what do you think this cold front coming thru will do to the crappied during the early day and late night hours?

Usually cold fronts result in "lockjaw"

for a day or two anyway.

its going to be coldest Friday and possibly some rain.

Use Weather.com and download their little desktop weather thing. It will give you 10 day forcasts and hour by hour for 24 hour period on temp, wind speed and direction, precip, and humidity etc.

They just run deeper when cold front hits and scatter some.

yeah and that run a little deeper can be a problem if you're fishing from the bank!

im no expert but this time of year, a small front like this may not push them deep as much. the thing to really look at is sun light. if the sun is beating on the water the same amount of time during the day the water wont cool down as much when the air cools. i plan on seeing if i can find some shallow still. just my 2 cents worth.

Turkey Season starts Friday. Gonna try to bag my turkey friday and then worry about the cold front. It's been my experiance that the third consecutive day of weather the fish bite good.
I've done all the fishing I want to do, I'm into the catching.
