Why is Eufaula sitll only 56 Degrees?

Who knows where or when it was measured. Yesterday I found surface temps from 69 to 78 in Juniper point area. 69 degree water was still in shade. The 69 degree water had a lot of 1.5 - 2 lbs. I lost over 20 big Females in buck brush cuz I could not control my Ulterra as adeptly as I could my old fortrex. I gave up on the brush and dbl dipped off the bank and found fish in 8-10 ft depth on sonar. That dbl dipping on points to spawning pockets produced a good bite on post spawn females. Only caught 1 dark male all day.
