    Nice catches guys where was this? I was out a t bird with the boy yesterday messing around at fisherman's point with jigs and caught the biggest crappie ever (for me).

    It was a good trip. As said above - tons of dinks. If they survive there is gonna be great fishing for years to come. We concentrated on big fish and it's been years since I caught that many 13, 14, 15, and 16" fish. One 17" with my wife in the boat. She thought it was a bass. Too busy fishing for pics. A couple of high pressure days the bite was extremely light or non-existent. Drop your jig in the mud, take up slack and you had a big-un with it in it's mouth. A good time!

    Sadly I was not on the ball the day I caught the big crappie but this last saturday while I was jigging for crappie I caught this beast.
