    Default Eufaula Lake lodging

    Hey all,

Just looking for any recommendations on lodging? I'm meeting up with some of my AF buddies for a long weekend of fishing and catching up in mid-march. Any recommendations on any type of lodging that is preferably on the water or near a marina that might not be a long boat ride from the best chance to land a few would be greatly appreciated. Never fished the lake before so not really sure where to start. I'm assuming towards the south part of the lake but not sure exactly how far south I should look. Hopefully you all have a good year fishing!

    Thanks in advance, J

American Cabins (918) 339-4964, is a nice place to stay and they have been good to us over the years. Located just off HWY 69 between Eufaula and Crowder. Great area of the lake to fish in March.

I would also recommend American Cabins. But be sure to get good directions coming out from the cove there at Oak Ridge near the cabins. Right now with the lake being low, you'd see the land sticking out of the water. But at normal elevation, it gets really shallow if you don't stay to the right. Head to the channel then go left (to go under 9A bridge) or right (to go farther south on the lake towards Blocker Bridge near Crowder). Usually pretty good fishing down that direction.

I also like American Cabins. they are plain, but nice. however, they are not on the water. you would have to take your boat out each time and travel a little. I would say, you will want to focus on the crowder area.

American cabins. Lots and f room to get your boat in and plugged up. Also of the beaten path a bit so you don’t have to worry about your stuff being gone in the am
