    Default Kid scared of crappie...

The little one is slowly overcoming her fear of crappie this year, maybe if I caught more she'd have adjusted sooner. Poor parenting I suppose. Anywhooo, I took the mother and little stink bug out and while I chased the the small one around the older one caught a nice crappie on a jig. This is good since she is normally a minnow only kinda gal. Just thought I'd share

I'm super thrilled since the last time she saw crappie she screamed and cried.

She may not turn out to be a natural slab seeker! Good picture.

My first son was afraid of crappies, he wouldn't dare go fishing with me. So, on his 7th birthday my wife and I presented him with a trip to Disneyland. We put him on a bus in Oklahoma City and his little suitcase, and emergency numbers in case he ran into trouble and sent him to California. Its been almost 60 years and we've never heard a peep out of him. Perhaps we should have used our phone number instead of GreyHound's emergency contact number...............sigh.

I'll give her another year before we get to that point!
