    Default Walleye Guide

Anyone have a recommendation? I've been trying to teach myself to catch these critters the last few years, but could use some tutoring. I'd travel anywhere in the state, anytime of year, probably me and my 12 y.o. son. Advice or referrals welcome.

CURTS GUIDE SERVICE provides walleye fishing, goose hunts, sandhill crane hunts

This is the only Oklahoma walleye/saugeye guide I've heard of. He holds the saugeye state record. Might be worth a shot. If you go, please report back on your experience.

I think @TimY mainly guides crappie and catfish but he may be able to put you on some eyes, I haven't met him in person but talked to him on here and over the phone several times, super nice guy.

Hey! I just went out with Curt from Curt's Guide Service on April 8. We fished Lawtonka, and we managed to bring home 20 saugeye keepers. We fished the late afternoon and evening, and it was really windy, but with the party of four fishing we almost managed to get our limit. I highly recommend Curt.

That's great! What techniques were you using?

We were drifting across flats at 12 ft. depths, and we used a weight bouncing off the bottom about 4 ft. in front of a night crawler.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a few bouncers but have only pulled artificial baits. Been meaning o try night crawlers. Did you guys use a spinner in front?
