Anybody fishing Texhoma lately? I'm going down there this weekend.

Not since the first of October. Water temp at that time about75-76. Trolled jigs and crankbaits. Caught everything except crappie (smallmouth, largemouth and spotted bass, blue cat, channel cat, drum, gar). Haven't been since, gotta be getting good. I mainly fish north of roosevelt bridge, coming out of little glasses. How bout you?

I've been monitoring this site for some time now and finally decided to register and become a member. I enjoy reading the posts and the sharing of information. I fish Texoma frequently, mainly the north end of the lake. I was there last week for several days. The crappie finally started turning on again. We ended up with 47 keepers over several days. Most of the keepers were caught on minnows. Jigs seemed to produce smaller fish for some reason. The fish were caught over brush in 10-12 feet of water.

The temp. was 76 when I was there last. It is now 74 degrees. With the front that has moved in, it will probably be dropping more by the weekend. Good luck this weekend.

I think we'll be at Catfish Bay somewhere. I'll be riding along this weekend with friends family so I guess I'll go wherever they wanna go.
