The fish are starting to gorge themselfes on shad I caught less fish than the last 2 weeks with numbers in the 70's but size is increasing and some fish moving away from the wood in the morning Kept 40 Sat it should just get better from here on till time to deer hunt

i went out today and had pretty good luck, i didnt get on the water until 7am and caught my limit before 1030am. i also caught a lot of short fish, est. of total caught 60-70 accounting the keepers. all my fish where 12inches or bigger, biggest 13 1/2 inches long.

i need quit bass tournaments fishing and start crappie crappie, and may be i could cash a check this year.

How deep are you guys catching them on the Big "O" now?

for me 17-18ft of water. they were also suspending around 15ft next to the brushpiles.
