Thread: another good day at the big O

well fish.on and i went out this morning, after the lighting show. had a pretty good day of crappie fishing. it was slow on the 1st few brush piles and after i made a big move and hit another brush pile, we started to smack them. the fish came off minnows by the way.

yep. im sure am. as long lighting doesnt get me. which drop shot rod did you get. i have 2 loomis drop shot rods and i love them, but i dont used them for crappie fishing. i probably at taco mart around 620 or 630.

Since I dont bass fish I am gonna try the rod on crappies if I dont like it I guess I will trade it for something from someone else but I am sure it will be alright see ya later Red

Red and I caught some nice Crappie today. Red really went on a roll about 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and caught some dandy fish. We should have took pics of these they were worth bragging about for summer time Crappie.

big G... did you kill them today? well i did better then yesterday, i had 2 limits by 1030. most of my crappie where 12-13inches today. i had few less then 10 1/2 inches. i guess these fronts have something to do about it.

fish.on i was fishing in same area as yesterday, but i different brushpile apox 200yrs from they other one. i didnt go to that brushpile that you i went to. saving that for another day.

by the way tacomart is out of large minnows and they advised they were not going get some unitl next week or monday.

How many did you end up with????

We ended up catching between 75-100 and almost all of them were dinks....

I think we kept 25 that were around a pound....

Were are the bigger fish? Jo and the boy had fun just catchn.....

I had around 35 that I kept I like you guys caught well over 100 fish it was good fun I am thinking of going to Eufalala tomorrow and jigging the trees I am told they are catching them out of them Keep posting guys see you all later Big G
