Thread: a avg day at the Big O

well i went out yesterday and today did little better then friday. i caught about 25 keeper each day. i did two things different #1 i went deeper water and #2 i used large minnows unstead of medium minnows. also by going to the bigger minnow, i didnt catch as many small crappie too.

this is just IMO the crappie fishing, is not as good as last year out at the Big O. I havent put my finger on it yet, but just not the same. what do you guys think?

Red I set around the house this morning and couldnt stand it with the cloud cover so I went to Ft Gibson late in the day <noonish> caught several nice ones and several dinks I had a greenhorn with me showing him the spiderrigging method ya might know it most of the fish bit his hehe but we had a lil fun I most likely will go up there one day this week if it stays cool I am averaging around 25-30 keepers each trip or did this week Mondays fish were bigger than Weds most were around 1 lb ish
