Question Did good on Hugo, but...

Spent some time on Hugo Lake. We caught a good amount of crappie in four days. But there were not alot of people fishing this lake. And I don't see much talk of it on here. What's up with this lake?

all the trees still standing in the lake? I have not been there for years, but when the timber was thick in the lake it was a crappie heaven.

Yes there's alot of standing timber with good boat runs thru em. That's where we really tore em up. They've got some nice cabins we stayed in, and a fairly decent marina with covered slips.

I know a guy that camps up there during the summer quite a bit and he allways catches tubs of good size crappie. He says that he never sees very many people on the lake fishing. I was wondering about that.
