Thread: Crappie Jones

Got me a Crappie Jones going on. I've been so busy with work and all else. I can't wait to get a "between the jobs" break. Keep the Oologah reports coming guys. I have only been out once since the CAST Tourney and didn't get to stay very long then. Thank goodness I still have some filets in the freezer.

I hit Oologah for the first time in almost 3 months this morning. Got on the water just before 7am, and hit a little hole in Spencer Creek. Ended up catching 14 crappie and a couple of small bass in about 6 foot of water. Wasn't much size to the crappie so they're all still swimming around there for another day.

One thing I did notice is that the bite is very light! And could only get them to hit on minnows.
