I rarely go up that far because it is so shallow. Now, if you can get to the channel safely, then you could probably find some nice fish.

I used to live in about 20 minutes from there....Double Creek was a very good option but I would load in at the Double Creek Ramp.....There is some really good fishing up that creek right off the channel in the timber....

    Thumbs up

    Chad,

How deep is it back in Double Crrek when the lake is at normal pool? Is there alot of timner back there? Is it anything like Talala Creek. Would dipping work good ? I fished Oologauh alot before I moved to Kansas. I need to check Clinton out and see what it is all about. I am going to stay away from Hillsdale untill the "jetski season" is over or go early and leave before they show up.

I might hit Perry this weekend. I an very happy with the fishing inKansas so far. There is plenty of good water close to Olathe. All I need now is more time. So much water, so little time...................!
