Thread: Old Vidios on Ten Killer

I watched some old vidio's today. One was Jimmy Huston crappie fishin on Lake Ten Killer. I don't think i've ever heard it mentioned on here, does anyone fish it or know anything about it? Just wondering...izzy

I fish it one week a year, April... usually do real good trolling. slabs are 14-17 and nice

Burnt Cabin has a dock so does Caney Creek I catch good fish almost every time I go. Good trolling on Caney for Sandies and Crappie. Excellent lake clear water most of the time.

Try trolling the bluffs at Cheroke landing, and across Cookson Bend by Barniclle Bills....

Hey Izzy, we've had a place there for 30+ years. It's just like any other good crappie lake. You can catch 'em year round if you know where to look. The lake is not nearly as clear as it used to be, thanks to chicken farmers to the north on the Illinois. It still is one of the clearer lakes in the state though.
