Finally
the crappie have moved into the condos that I put out in late spring just before span. The one's in 10-12 ft. water are holding the most fish at a depth of about 7ft. I built some copies of the Porcupine ones with 4 ft. arms, so that makes them from the bottom 81/2 ft to the tops. Caught 15 today, mostly 9 inchers. Hope they hold for a while.

Would that happen to be on Thunderbird? I noticed you are in Norman.

Correct, Tbird
some near the old highway 9 roadbed, some in clearbay. One near fisherman's point.

Old Hwy 9 is Alameda Drive. Take Alameda Drive east till you run into the lake by the marina. You are there!
Don't get lost Alameda St and Alameda Drive is the same road till you get to 72nd. Ave

Still bitting
My friend and I caught a limit for each of us today at Tbird. Most on minnows and some on jjgs. They are in my deepest crappie condo at 121/2 ft and we had to let the minnow down all the way to the bottom and just barely lift it up a few inches and they would get it. Very very light bites, mostly just a heavyness on the line was all we felt. No large fish, mostly dinks, and a few 9 inchers. But we keep all fish over 6 inches, they all taste good. Caught all the fish in an area about 5ft circle. That many crappie and that small area man there must be 10 million crappie in tbird.
