Default Where Should I find Crappie in this farm pond?

I fish a farm pond that is about 13 - 16 feet deep at the deepest spot, has lots of dead trees in it, just a fishy looking pond. Where should the crappie be with the weather being like its been? Warmed up, but not too much? I know we pounded the bank and came up with one after a couple hours fishing.

im guessing they might still be deep around cover if not they might be moving up since ponds warm up quicker than lakes so they might be anywhere from 10'-5' that would be my guess i would start around cover first but all this is just my oppion and i may be right or wrong let me know either way
    thanks Crappie Josh aka C.J.

Rig a slipfloat and try some of the timber, there will be a couple of spots in this pond taht will hold 90% of the crappie.

They might have been up shallow about 2 weeks ago when we had some warm + sun. But I'd expect them to be down tight in that brush 'till the first sustainted sunny week after the front we're expecting this week. Really 3-4 days of sun/60*+ weather should bring them to the banks.

Thanks guys, I thought the same thing. I'll try to pick up some minnows and try it out and let you know. I also agree that a few spots will hold most of the crappie. I know of one place in both ponds that is a better producer on average, and I think both of them are submerged trees.
