Graves Creek at Eufaula
Anybody ever fish Graves at Eufaula? We ususally go on down south, but 45 minutes closer to home sure sounds good. I'd sure appreciate any suggestions/advice for fishing this creek. Jeff

As of yesterday, 3/10/10, it was real murky and no one was in the parking lot yesterday evening.
They had been catching some there before the rain. When the weather clears and starts warming back up, the fishing there should be good. It's a small creek and it gets a lot of pressure when the fishing is good.
I've seen it packed to the point the boats had to wait on one another to pass in the narrow sections because other boats were tied up to brush or anchored and made it difficult to pass.
It's worth a try as is Gentry Creek if the water clears just a little.

i used to fish graves creek alot this time of year, find abend in the creek with alot of debris and you usually find some fish, the thicker the better. sometimes you have to poke a hole in it with your rod tip to get your jig down but the crappie will be there.

I have been fishing Graves creek about 3 to 4 times a week and they just started turning on 03-10-10 catching some nice ones but then the rain came in.
Like Odiedon stated the creek fills up with boats on a nice day mainly the weekends.
I have been hearing good reports from I-40
I'm headed out the sun just broke through.
I'll be in the green renegade with the radio playing.

Thanks to you all. I started to go this morning but the north wind scared me off. I'll post the results when I do finally make it.
Again, thanks to everyone.
Jeff
