Thread: spincast or spinning?

Which do you prefer and why? Looking for pros and cons. Thanks.

Spinning. Better balance, feel, and control. And not as likely to kink the line.

i second all of what DC said. also the quality of the drag is much better in any spinning reel compared to a spincast....the last time i used a spin cast i lost about an 8 lb saugeye at tbird cuz when he got to the top and decided to head back down the drag on that piece of crap jammed up and broke him off...im still mad about that if u cant tell

nothing but spinning.....give those spincast to the kiddos for perch fishing...they are a great reel for kids and those just starting out...but after using spinning reels for all these years i would never go back
